We built TellPDF to challenge the assumption that document processing requires uploading your private files to remote servers.
Why Zero-Server?
Traditional PDF utilities process your documents in the cloud. While convenient, this exposes sensitive files—such as financial audits, medical reports, and legal agreements—to server logs, vendor databases, and cloud security risks.
TellPDF executes all core PDF utilities (merging, splitting, page deletion, watermarking, signing, and local OCR text indexing) inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your possession.
AI Without the Data Leak
We integrate Gemini Pro capabilities to let you chat with your documents. In local mode, the AI reads text summaries or layout coordinates right in your browser, running operations on your local commands. We ensure that your private data is structured on-the-fly and processed securely.
Open Source & Transparency
We believe security requires verifiable execution. TellPDF leverages open-source standards such as pdf-lib and qpdf-wasm to handle bytes reliably.
